Common bearing lubrication techniques
Some common lubrication methods:
One, solid and smooth:
Under some special application conditions, adding a small amount of solid smoothing agent to the smoothing grease, such as adding 3 to 5% of No. 1 molybdenum disulfide can reduce wear, improve compression and heat resistance, for high temperature, elegant, high vacuum, corrosion resistance , Anti-radiation, and extremely low temperature and other special conditions, the solid smoothing agent can be used in engineering plastics or powder metallurgy materials to make SKF bearing parts with self-smoothing function, such as bonding the solid smoothing agent to the roller A smooth film is formed on the channel, cage and rolling body, which has a certain effect on reducing conflict and wear.
Two, oily smooth:
Viscosity is the main characteristic of smooth oil. The viscosity directly affects the fluidity of the smooth oil and the thickness of the oil film formed between the conflicting surfaces. The viscosity of the smooth oil at the working temperature of SKF bearings is usually 12-15cst. The higher the speed, the lower the viscosity, the heavier the load, the higher the viscosity. Commonly used lubricating oils include machine oil, high-speed machine oil, steam turbine oil, compression oil, transformer oil, cylinder oil, etc.
Oil smoothing methods include:
1, oil bath is smooth
Oil bath smoothing is the most common smoothing method. It is suitable for low and medium speed SKF bearings. Part of the SKF bearing is immersed in the groove. The smooth oil is picked up by the rotating SKF bearing parts and then flows back to the oil groove. Below the base of the lowest tumbling body.
2, dripping oil smooth
Drip oil is suitable for SKF bearing parts that require a quantitative supply of smooth oil. The amount of oil dripping is usually one drop every 3-8 seconds. Excessive oil volume will increase the temperature of SKF bearings.
3, the circulating oil is smooth
Use the oil pump to transport the filtered oil to the SKF bearing parts, and then use the smooth oil after passing through the SKF bearing after filtering and cooling. Because circulating oil can take away a certain amount of heat and cool down SKF bearings, this method is suitable for SKF bearing components with higher speeds.
4, the spray is smooth
Using dry compressed air through a sprayer to mix with lubricating oil to form an oil mist, erupting into the SKF bearing, the airflow can effectively cool the SKF bearing and avoid the intrusion of impurities. This method is suitable for the smoothing of high-speed and high-temperature SKF bearing components.
6, spray light and smooth
Use an oil pump to inject high-pressure oil into the SKF bearing through a nozzle, and the oil injected into the SKF bearing flows into the oil groove through the other end of the SKF bearing. When the SKF bearing rotates at high speed, the tumbling body and the cage also make the surrounding air form an air flow at a suitably high rotation speed. It is difficult to send the smooth oil to the SKF bearing by the usual smooth method. At this time, the smoothing must be made by high-pressure eruption. When the oil is sprayed into the SKF bearing, the orientation of the nozzle should be placed between the inner ring and the cage base.
